GPAINNOVA has entered a partnership with Novem Group to introduce the innovative DLyte for metal surface finishing as a service to the European and North American markets. The collaboration and the investment in DLyte mark a further step in expanding Novem’s processing portfolio of premium surface finishing for sectors such as mobility, aerospace, medical technology and the food and pharmaceutical industries.
The partnership combines Novem’s expertise in premium surface finishing and industrial manufacturing with GPAINNOVA’s technology, an active-particle solution designed to automate and optimize the finishing of complex metal components. Its patented DryLyte technology enables manufacturers to achieve consistent, high-quality surface finishes while addressing growing demands for process efficiency, reproducibility and more sustainable production.

Redefining Metal Surface Finishing
Metallic components play an important role across numerous industries, where surface quality, functional performance and process reliability are essential, particularly for components with complex geometries. DLyte provides an innovative alternative to conventional mechanical and chemical processing methods for materials including aluminum, stainless steel, brass and titanium.
Its fully automated and reproducible production process supports efficient industrial-scale production, reduces process variability and contributes to consistently high-quality standards across the entire manufacturing process. In addition to its technological benefits, DLyte, as a sustainable alternative to conventional finishing processes, supports a more environmentally responsible production process through the reduced use of hazardous substances and resources.
A Shared Vision
Pau Sarsanedas, CEO and Co-Founder of GPAINNOVA: “We are very pleased to partner with Novem, a company with a strong track record in premium manufacturing and a clear commitment to innovation. This collaboration demonstrates the growing industrial potential of DLyte beyond traditional finishing applications. By combining Novem’s manufacturing expertise with our technology, we can help companies achieve a more precise, consistent and sustainable finishing process while accelerating the adoption of automation in demanding industrial environments.”
Dr. Andreas Karl, Head of Project DLyte: “The introduction of the DLyte technology marks a major innovation milestone for Novem. It not only elevates the quality and consistency of our 3D surface finishing but also transforms manufacturing processes towards greater automation and sustainability. This partnership strengthens our position as a technology leader and enables us to deliver next-generation solutions to our customers worldwide.”
The collaboration also reflects the increasing need for advanced finishing technologies capable of meeting the requirements of highly regulated and quality-driven industries. DLyte’s automated approach is particularly suited to applications where repeatability, process control and surface quality are critical.
Through partnership, GPAINNOVA and Novem will work to expand the availability of DLyte finishing services across Europe and North America, supporting manufacturers looking to improve their finishing processes while reducing their reliance on conventional methods.
