DryLyte, S.L., has Filed a Patent Infringement Complaint Against a Second Competitor, Compelling them to Cease Product Sales

GPAINNOVA, a leading innovator in the metal surface finishing industry, announces that the Guangzhou Nansha Administration of Marketing Regulation (AMR) in China has accepted on May 30th, 2024 the administrative petition from GPAINNOVA’s affiliate DryLyte, S.L. (DLyte), against a competitor with respect to patent infringement of DLyte patent ZL201780025853.2. The patent relates to a method and related apparatus for smoothing and polishing metals via ion transport by means of free solid bodies, and in particular polymeric solid bodies. This technology is implemented in several of GPAINNOVA’s products.
This decisive step has been taken to safeguard the interests of the company, its investors, partners, employees, distributors, and inventors.
Nansha AMR has conducted an on-site inspection at the infringer’s premises to verify the infringement. The findings are currently under thorough analysis by the AMR. As a result, the competitor has ceased promoting polymer polishing related products and solutions, confirming GPAINNOVA as the only and exclusive company to legally distribute machines and electrolytes using active particles for polishing Worldwide, including China.
