GPAINNOVA’s Staff’s New Paper on WC-Co Cemented Carbide Material

GPAINNOVA announces that Guiomar Riu Pedrix, PhD candidate and laboratory engineer at the business group’s TestLab, and Joan Josep Roa Rovira, manager of this department, have published a new scientific paper in Direct Science: “Optimizing and understanding dry electropolishing process on WC-Co cemented carbide material”.

This study focuses on the optimization and understanding of the dry electropolishing process applied to cemented carbide materials (WC-Co). The research highlights adjusting electrical parameters to enhance process efficiency, and a detailed analysis of the microstructural and chemical changes that occur during treatment.
