GPAINNOVA’s Staff’s New Paper on WC-Co Cemented Carbide Material

GPAINNOVA announces that Guiomar Riu Pedrix, PhD candidate and laboratory engineer at the business group’s TestLab, and Joan Josep Roa Rovira, manager of this department, have published a new scientific paper in Direct Science: “Optimizing and understanding dry electropolishing process on WC-Co cemented carbide material”.
This study focuses on the optimization and understanding of the dry electropolishing process applied to cemented carbide materials (WC-Co). The research highlights adjusting electrical parameters to enhance process efficiency, and a detailed analysis of the microstructural and chemical changes that occur during treatment.
The authors of the article want to thank the the research group is in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona (CIEFMA), for all its support and collaboration in making this work possible.
