In October 2023, GPAINNOVA America and Indicate Technologies, a leading provider of advanced manufacturing solutions on the American West Coast, entered into a distribution agreement to expand their footprint in advanced manufacturing in the US market. The primary objective of this strategic alliance is to promote the adoption of DLyte’s innovative dry electropolishing technology, with a specific focus on key markets, including medical devices, consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace, dental, and jewelry.
Cutting-edge Technology for Surface Finishing
John Hammond, President of Indicate Technologies, emphasized the advantages of GPAINNOVA’s surface finishing brand: “DLyte’s groundbreaking solution delivers consistent, mark-free finishes on metal and carbide parts of any shape while substantially reducing environmental impact and process inefficiencies, aligning perfectly with our commitment to advanced manufacturing and sustainability.” Hammond said, “We are excited to engage our advanced manufacturing community with this compelling and disruptive capability.”
The President of Indicate Technologies further explains, “DLyte’s DryLyte Technology for metal surface finishing stands out for five reasons: its ecological friendliness, dimensional integrity (parts processed with DLyte retain their dimensions, unlike the erosion of surfaces and corners seen in conventional electropolishing), ease of use, attainment of accurate and repeatable results, micro-deburring automation, and a lower cost per part, as it allows for finishing over twice the number of parts compared to conventional electropolishing.”
Jesús Contreras, Business Developer at GPAINNOVA America, also expressed his satisfaction with the agreement, stating, “Indicate Technologies is part of a unique ecosystem with advanced expertise in various manufacturing areas, which will make it easier for companies to adopt DLyte.” He added, “This is a tremendous opportunity for both organizations, and we have great confidence in the support we will receive from Indicate Technologies.”
